About Me

Kim Ulrick is a Canberra-based writer who started life as a journalist. Kim fell into a 30-year career with the Australian Public Service running national communication programs and advertising campaigns and delivering a range of national policy initiatives.

Kim wrote her first short story at age nine and since retiring has reconnected with her passion for words. Kim’s writing is inspired by her life experiences—growing up in country New South Wales and her work with law enforcement and national agencies. When she is not writing, Kim loves playing golf and spending time with her family and pets. Kim also enjoys beach walks at Tuross Head on the beautiful south coast of New South Wales. Kim is a member of Marion (ACT Writers).

Kim has combined her love of wine and golf in a new blog Reds, Whites and Greens. Australia has some of the best golf courses and vineyards in the world and through this blog, Kim will take you to some of her favourite spots around the country.
